Girl-Wise Conference set for Saturday at CLC

The 12th annual Girl-Wise Conference is set for 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at the College of Lake County, Building C, on the Grayslake campus. The event will feature informative resource booths, UP2US is the keynote speaker, workshops for junior high and high school girls, raffles and prizes, free workshops for parents and role models. Topics include dealing with stress, empowerment, healthy body and minds, school success, and others.
