Pet adoption event at Lambs Farm

Editor's note: This event was canceled May 5 due to canine influenza.

Lambs Farm and The Anti-Cruelty Society are hosting a pet adoption event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Lambs Farm, 14245 W. Rockland Road, Libertyville. Many dogs and cats will be available for same-day adoption. The adoption will be held in conjunction with Lambs Farm's free Train Day event. Lambs Farm's Dogwood Garden & Pet Center is a 100 percent rescue-based operation through partnership with The Anti-Cruelty Society. The nominal adoption fee charged is shared with The Anti-Cruelty Society to support their expenses associated with transport, spaying/neutering and inoculations required for rescue animals.
