Submitted by the Lake County Folk Club

The Lake County Folk Club will present a concert by nationally acclaimed singer-songwriter John Flynn at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at the In-Laws Restaurant, 720 Milwaukee Ave., Gurnee. Flynn has performed and recorded with such music legends as Kris Kristofferson, Arlo Guthrie, Willie Nelson and Ramblin' Jack Elliott. His songwriting skills have roots in his years as a Nashville staff writer, while his powerful lyrics are informed by his social activism. John's 11th album, "Poor Man's Diamonds" has been met with enthusiastic reviews and a track from the album, "Like Woody Done," has been voted the number one song of 2014 on SyriusXM/The Village. For reservations, call (847) 602-8882 for reservations.

Admission is a suggested donation of $12 for general admission, $10 for seniors and members, $5 for teens.
