Maine East roof to be repaired

Roof repairs will be made this summer at Maine East High School, the oldest building of the three Maine Township High School District 207 schools.

The school board recently approved contracts worth $163,850 with Anthony Roofing Tecta America and $95,250 with Knickerbocker Roofing for roofing repairs at the Park Ridge school. Each contractor will be working on a different section of the roof.

The contract awards represent the cheapest combination of bids received for the project, according to Mary Kalou, the district's assistant superintendent for business.
