A big thank you to city of Prospect Hts.
A big thank-you to the city of Prospect Heights elected officials and Public Works Department. They obtained the necessary snow removal equipment and cleared the sidewalks along the east side of Elmhurst Road this past winter. What an excellent service they provided to the pedestrians of the local area, those who walk for fitness throughout the winter and those who walk to Walgreen's, the post office, Randhurst, the bus stops along Route 83, and so on.
This type of public service is especially critical for the handicapped residents of our local area. It is my hope that the neighboring suburbs will be inspired by Prospect Heights' example and will expand their sidewalk snow removal efforts.
