Consumers Credit Union Announces Board Election Results

Waukegan, IL, April 7, 2015: Consumers Credit Union (CCU; $610 Million, Waukegan, IL) recently held its 85th Annual Meeting at Key Lime Cove Resort in Gurnee. Those who attended the event, numbering over 300 including both Members and guests, received a comprehensive update on the Member-owned credit union's performance from the 2014 year, along with CCU's 2014 Annual Report. Sean Rathjen, CCU President, also provided a preview for the coming calendar year.

One of the many highlights from the evening's festivities was the election of four candidates to three-year terms on the credit union's Board of Directors. The newly-elected Board members are James Mahnich, Dr. John R. Schwab, Alice Clements and Kenneth Robinson. Other Members of CCU's Board of Directors include Ann Campanella, Nancy Anderson, Denise Charts, Scott Drabicki, Joseph Rajcevich, Michael Raysakis, John Janezic and Frank Soyka. All members of the Board are unpaid, one of the key differences between credit unions and banks.

CCU's Executive Committee for 2015 was selected on Tuesday, March 31st, the first regular monthly Board Meeting following the Annual Meeting event. The Member-owned credit union's Executive Committee now consists of (pictured above from left to right) Ann Campanella, Vice-Chair; Alice Clements, Treasurer; John R. Janezic, Chairman; Joseph M. Rajcevich, Chair of the Supervisory Committee; and, Denise Charts, Secretary.
