Westminster Christian 8, Rockford East 6: Tyler Mamrot was 3-for-5 with a double and 2 RBI as the Warriors won in nonconference action. Peter Hahn and Adam Greene (2 RBI) added 2 hits each for Westminster (3-4) while Josh Zahara also drove in a run. Nathan Martinez picked up the win, going 5 innings allowing 8 hits with 4 strikeouts and 3 walks. Nic Anguilo earned the save.

Hampshire 8, Belvidere 2: Jacob Manning (RBI) and Jayson Fleisner (2 RBI) each had 2 hits while Tyler Schutt (RBI) and Tristyn Ross doubled to lead the Whip-Purs to a nonconference win. Nick Mohlman had 2 RBI for Hampshire (4-2) and Michael Kruse drove in a run. Manning earned the win on the mound, going 5 innings with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk. He allowed 6 hits.

Jacobs 11, DeKalb 1: Jeff Sidor was 3-for-3 with an RBI, Matt Koziak had a double and an RBI and Brenden Heiss drove in 2 runs to lead the Golden Eagles (10-3) to a nonconference win. Owen Oreskovich added 2 hits and an RBI for Jacobs while Stevie Krueger and Randl Tim each drove in runs. Tyler Jones went 5⅓ innings to earn the win.

Boylan 4, Huntley 3: Brandon Altergott (RBI) and Brandon Duvall each had RBI for Huntley (1-5) but Boylan scored 3 runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to win this nonconference game. Joe Rizzo and Bobby Hecker each drove in runs for the Red Raiders and Brian Wiggins had 2 hits. Jeff Heinrich suffered the loss on the mound.
