Veterans' Conservation Corps meeting is Saturday

The next monthly meeting of the Volunteer Veterans' Conservation Corps is 9:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 11, at Volo Bog State Natural Area in Ingleside. The group provides opportunities for veterans to continue serving their country by assisting with and developing projects to enhance state parks and natural areas. The current project is an informational kiosk for Whitetail Prairie at Moraine Hills State Park, An osprey tower and bat houses are on the to-do list. First-timers are encouraged to join.
