Mount Prospect District 57 will appoint member to board
On Tuesday, four incumbent members will be re-elected to the Mount Prospect Elementary District 57 school board, but there are five seats open. Dennis Composto, Jennifer Kobus and Joe Sonnefeldt will get 4-year terms, while Joseph Leane ran for a 2-year term. The fifth seat, for which no candidate is running, is also a 2-year seat, and the board will appoint someone to the seat. Residents who want to be considered are asked to apply at www.d57.org after May 1. The new board member will be appointed and seated within 45 days of election results verification.
