Eating on the go

It's tempting to go the quick route and stop at your favorite fast food restaurant for lunch.

This can cause people to make poor food decisions and eat unhealthy. However, many fast food chains have recently offered healthier options for their consumers.

McDonald's offers a premium Caesar salad with grilled chicken, while Taco Bell created a Fresco steak burrito supreme with black beans, which is a much healthier option than most of their menu items.

At Subway, you can grab a 6" Subway Club with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, green peppers and sweet onion sauce (no mayo!), and Chipotle has a tasty vegetarian burrito bowl with brown rice that is much lower in calories than their famous oversized burritos.

Their fries might be tempting, but at Wendy's you should opt for their Ultimate Grilled Chicken Sandwich with an apple for the side. The Grilled Chicken Breast with mashed potatoes (no gravy!) is your best choice at KFC.

If you don't have the option of bringing your own lunch, then these are all good choices you can make when getting a meal on the go.
