Given drives in winning run for Naperville North

Naperville North 9, Benet 8:

Nate Given's two-out, bases-loaded RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning drove in Alex Garon with the game-winning run for the Huskies (2-3). Mark Khoury went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI while Paul Dobravec homered and drove in 3 runs. Mike Ryan homered twice for Benet (4-3) and Cole Channell added a third home run.

Neuqua Valley 10, Naperville Central 7:

The Wildcats (3-2) scored 6 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning while rallying from a 7-4 deficit. Alex DiFranco went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI. Tyler Tesmond and Kevin Hutt drove in 2 runs apiece. Justin Wegner and Mack Heatherly each homered and drove in 2 runs for Naperville Central (3-3).

Glenbard North 5, Conant 3:

The victorious Panthers (4-2) scored three times in the fifth inning and twice in the sixth. Seven different players had hits for Glenbard North, with Matt Michalak driving in 2 runs. Winning pitcher Sam Ledbetter scattered 4 hits and struck out five over 6 innings.

Lake Park 3, Kennett, Ohio 0:

Connor Cook fired a 3-hitter with 9 strikeouts and a walk as the Lancers closed their Tennessee trip with a 4-0 record. Zach Zimmerman and James Palmer drove in runs. Lake Park also beat Dyersburg 22-1 on Saturday.

Metea Valley 3, Oswego East 0:

Jacob Petersen pitched into the sixth inning to earn the win and Sam Janus notched the save in a combined 2-hitter for the Mustangs (4-0). Metea Valley scored once in the fifth and added 2 insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Waubonsie Valley 8, Lincoln-Way East 0:

Brandon Petersen struck out five and walked none in a 2-hitter for the Warriors (3-1). Luke Marzano homered while Garret Howicz and Ryan Jones each had 2 hits and 2 RBI.
