Wheeling maintained its lead in the Mid-Suburban East girls water polo race on Thursday by claiming a 14-4 victory over host Rolling Meadows.

Theresa Godlewski had 7 goals and Jenna Pink 4 for the Wildcats (6-3, 4-0).

Sara Luedloff had a pair of goals for Rolling Meadows (5-3, 2-2) and goalie Betsy Zanocco stopped 21 shots.

Conant 11, Mundelein 7: The visiting Cougars added to their unbeaten season as Sam Wooley (4 goals) and Emily Weingart (2) carried the scoring load and Maddy Demaret stopped 11 shots. Conant improved to 10-0.

Prospect 10, Buffalo Grove 4: Niki Neumann led host Prospect with 5 goals and Danielle McCallister had 2 while Lauren Broz stopped 18 shots to help the Knights (5-3, 3-1) pick up an MSL East victory

Jessie Graziano had 2 goals to lead the Bison (4-5, 2-2).
