Believe Project: $100 for a hardworking couple with five kids scraping to get by

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is John Siepl of Buffalo Grove.

Here is an excerpt of his suggestion:

"There is a young family I see at the food pantry almost every week. The parents both work at Burger King and they have five young children. They work hard and do the best they can to support their family. They live in a two-bedroom apartment in Buffalo Grove. They also help their neighbors by volunteering at the food pantry and taking the leftover bread and bananas to their apartment complex to share. There is no doubt that $100 would go a long way with this family."
