Dundee preschoolers give a hand to quilt project

The Dundee Township Park District has four preschool classes - two with 20 students, one with 13 students and one with six students.

The teacher traced the hand of each student and printed the students name on the block. Then she had the student color the traced hand.

Jan Bryant, a quilt class instructor for the senior center, took the blocks and made four quilts, one for each class. She will be presenting the quilts to the preschool teacher Thursday afternoon and the park district will raffle the quilts and use the money for the students.
