Bartlett police host open house April 12

The Bartlett Police Department is hosting its free annual open house event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at the police station, 228 S. Main St.

This fun-filled family event is being held in conjunction with the Bartlett Lion's Club Pancake Breakfast inside the Bartlett Fire Barn, 218 S. Main St.

It is an opportunity for residents to interact with members of the Bartlett Police Department, tour the police station, sit inside new patrol vehicles, and enjoy a variety of interactive police displays. Some of the planned highlights include the flag raising ceremony at 9 a.m., hourly police canine demonstrations, the distracted driving simulator, DUI fatal vision goggles, community information tables, free identity kits, build-it kits, face painting, and a kid's fun zone.
