Bartlett goes 2-2-1 in Tennessee

The Bartlett softball team didn't exactly get warm weather on its spring trip to Clarksville, Tenn., but the Hawks did get to play four games on the field.

Competing in the Zaxby's Classic, Bartlett went 0-1-1 on Friday, tying Clarksville 5-5 and losing to Dresden (TN) 4-2. The Hawks also picked up a forfeit win over Ballard (KY).

On Saturday, Bartlett beat Clarksville 9-3 and lost to Edzell Harding of Tennessee 3-2 to finish the weekend 2-2-1.

In the win over Clarksville Saturday, Sydney Quagliano (2-for-2, 2B, RBI), Taylor Rotundo (2B, 2 RBI) and Gianna Stornello (2B, 2 RBI) led the Hawks' offense and Amber Pagan picked up the pitching win.

Pagan had an RBI and Danielle Kirby was the losing pitcher against Edzell Harding.

Each of Bartlett's four played games only went four innings due to a time limit.
