Retired teachers meet:
The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meeting at noon Tuesday, April 14, at Lambs Farm restaurant at Route 176 and the Tri-State Tollway near Libertyville. The cost is $160 per person for the buffet luncheon and meeting. The retired teachers association's own Jim Benton will present his program on America's Favorite Birds. His combination of pictures, information and bird calls is entertaining and informative. Jim taught biology for more than 30 years at Lake Forest High School, is a former association president and an avid bird watcher. All retired educators are welcome to attend and no reservations are necessary.
