Waste haulers make pitch to North Barrington
North Barrington's Environmental & Health Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, for waste hauling vendors to make presentations on the type of services they offer, including back door pickup, use of variable size/rate toter carts, landscape waste collection, snowbird suspension, and organic recycling.
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting, to be held in the lower level meeting room of village hall, 111 Old Barrington Road, and give feedback as to their needs and preferences.
The commission will make a recommendation to the village board.
Presentations will be made by Groot Industries, Inc., Prairie Land Disposal, Inc., and Waste Management of Illinois, Inc.
