Elgin 3, Plainfield East 2: Freshman Brittany Dazzo scored 2 goals including the game-winner and Bopha Travis added a goal as the Maroons won their season opener in this nonconference game. Melissa Galarza had 2 assists for Elgin.

Burlington Central 9, Harvard 0: In the opening game of the Harvard tournament, the Rockets got 3 goals from Jordan King and 2 from Yareli Vargas to cruise to an easy win. Also adding scores were Sydney Pryor, Elizabeth Gousios, Megan Safranski and Alyssa Mariani. Abbi Ciganek and Erin Raffetry shared the shutout in goal.

Burlington Central 8, Rockford Jefferson 0: The Rockets made it a clean sweep at the Harvard tournament ad Jordan King scored 4 goals, Elizabeth Gousios added 3 and Yareli Vargas had a single knock. Abbi Ciganek and Erin Rafferty shared the net for BC (3-0) with Rafferty making 1 save.
