Elk Grove Jaycees to host Easter egg hunt

Come join the Elk Grove Village Jaycees on Saturday, March 28, at Jaycee Park, for your chance to collect candy and prizes and to meet the Easter Bunny! Jaycee Park, 889 Brantwood Ave., is located at the northeast corner of JF Kennedy Blvd., and Brantwood Ave., in Elk Grove Village.

This event is free for children 9 and younger.

Registration will begin at noon, the Easter Bunny will arrive at 12:30 p.m. and the first hunt will begin at 1 p.m. There will be four hunts: Ages 2 and younger, ages 3-4, ages 5-6 and ages 7-9; hunts go fast so plan to be at Jaycee Park by 1 p.m. to participate. There will also be raffles with all proceeds going toward bringing more events like this to the community.

The Elk Grove Village Chapter of the Jaycees is one of over 1,000 local chapters throughout the United States. The Jaycees provide individuals between the ages of 21-40 the opportunity to network and develop personal and leadership skills while serving their community. Jaycee members take initiative to solve local challenges and are focused on sustainable impact, locally and globally. The Elk Grove Village chapter is always looking for new members interested in personal growth and community involvement.

The Elk Grove Jaycees meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month, at Starbucks, 102 Biesterfield Road, in Elk Grove Village.
