Authorities investigating death of 2-year-old Renault boy
RENAULT, Ill. (AP) - Several agencies are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy in southern Illinois.
Monroe County Coroner Vicki Koerber says Jase Tojo was found dead at his Renault home on Tuesday. The Belleville News-Democrat (http://bit.ly/1x7AOv9 ) reports an autopsy was conducted the following day, but results are pending a toxicology report.
The Illinois Department of Child and Family Services, Illinois State Police, Child Death Investigation Task Force and the Monroe County Sheriff's Department are contributing to the investigation.
