Armed robbery at Arlington Hts. 7-Eleven

Arlington Heights police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store with a gun on Wednesday night.

Police say a man entered the 7-Eleven on the 1700 block of West Algonquin Road, at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, showed the clerk a gun and demanded money from the register.

The offender is described as a white or Hispanic male with a mustache, weighing about 210 pounds and about 5'7" tall. He was last seen wearing a light colored Chicago Bulls winter hat with a pom on top, dark sunglasses, a gray pullover, black gloves, black pants and white gym shoes, according to the report.

Police did not say how much money was taken.
