Practice for the next Dodgeball tournament with the Schaumburg Park District

Learn to dodge, duck, dip and dodge at the Schaumburg Park District's Spring Break Dodgeball Camp.

The National Amateur Dodgeball Association (NADA) was created as a recreational pursuit for nontraditional sport enthusiasts. NADA hosts several tournaments and camps throughout the year.

The NADA's Spring Break Dodgeball Skills Camp will teach the essentials 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., March 23-26 at the Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road. Participants will learn important techniques, strategies and skills necessary to be part of a successful Dodgeball team.

"This is a nice opportunity for younger athletes to learn and develop Dodgeball abilities," said Derek Dvorak, athletic supervisor. "The camp is taught by past and current champions."

All participants receive a T-shirt and NADA membership. Camp is for ages 7-14 years old.

Cost is $49 for residents and $69 for non-residents.
