Enjoy Arcada organ concert Sunday

Chicago Area Theatre Organ Enthusiasts

The Chicago Area Theatre Organ Enthusiasts will host a free organ concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at the Arcada Theatre, 105 E. Main St. in downtown St. Charles.

The organist will be CATOE board member Taylor Trimby.

Doors open at 1:30 p.m.

Due to the upcoming restoration of the 3/16 Marr Colton/Geneva organ, it could be a while before you get a chance to hear the organ again.

Soon, they will be posting photos on the group's Facebook page as well as on their Web page, www.catoe61.org, showing the progress of the restoration.

Major fundraising will be required for this restoration project.

Enjoy more organ music this summer, on Saturday, June 27, when the Chicago Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society will have a public concert at the Tivoli Theatre at 10 a.m. on CATOE's 3/10 Wurlitzer and at 2 p.m. at the Downers Grove North High School on their 3/10 Wurlitzer. Walt Strony and Dave Wickerham will be the organists for the day.
