Breakfast fundraiser for Honor Flight
Lake County Honor Flight is hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 21, at VFW Post 7448, 1112 Sheridan Road, Winthrop Harbor.
The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
Lake County Honor Flight flies veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit memorials built to honor their service to the nation. Priority is given to World War II veterans and terminally ill vets.
