Understand Your Pain: Arthritis and Orthopedic Issues as We Age

Understand Your Pain is the second 2015 Wellness Ministry program sponsored in coordination between Advocate Condell Medical Center and Ivanhoe Congregational Church. It will be held on Monday, March 23, at 7 pm at Ivanhoe Congregational Church, 21078 W. Route 176, in Mundelein. The program is free and prior registration is not required.

As we age, arthritis can become more severe and more painful, and orthopedic issues also can become more pronounced. Our physician will tell you what to expect, how you can prevent or manage some conditions, and when to see your doctor

A Wellness Ministry is a congregationally based ministry of Advocate Condell Medical Center. This ministry addresses the education about healthy living, prevention and management of illnesses, relationship between faith and health of individuals, and training parishioners on health ministry leadership. Traci Smith is the coordinator of the Ivanhoe Congregational Church program.
