Bartlett Volunteer Fire Association to hold Ham Raffle March 28

The Bartlett Volunteer Fire Association will host its first Ham Raffle 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at the Bartlett Fire Barn, 218 S. Main St., in Bartlett. Admission is free. Attendees will have the opportunity to win over 40 spiral cut hams. Raffle tickets are $2 each or three tickets for $5. Free popcorn and soon-to-be famous ham slider sandwiches will be available.

"Our annual Turkey Raffle in the fall is one of the best known events in the community," said Mike Dexter, president of the Bartlett Volunteer Fire Association. "We look forward to our new Ham Raffle becoming a community favorite for many years to come."

Two Easter baskets, Flopsy and Mopsy, with Easter goodies and a spiral ham will also be raffled off at the end of the evening. Tickets for Flopsy and Mopsy can be purchased on-site or prior to the event from the association. Winners do not have to be present to win. In addition, raffle tickets for the Peter basket, with Easter goodies and a spiral ham, will be sold only during the event and the winner must be present at the end of the evening when the winning ticket is drawn.

The Bartlett Volunteer Fire Association is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization that has been serving the needs of the community for over 110 years. The association donates thousands of dollars to support community organizations and waives the rental fee of the Fire Barn for many charitable fundraisers.
