Bartlett assist corrected and credited to Jenna Dombrowski.
Bartlett 2, Schaumburg 0: The Hawks (1-0) started the season on a good note with a nonconference win over the Saxons. Mariela Alba and Sarah Jurek each scored first half goals while Jenna Dombrowski tallied an assist. Nykia Wetterman and Tessa Jatczak made 5 saves each in goal during their respective halves.
Conant 3, CL South 1: Senior midfielder Taylor Mraz managed the only South goal in its season debut. Jessica Schoenfeldt garnered an assist for the Gators (0-1) while goalkeeper Jaclyn Przbylski stopped 12 shots in nonconference action.
