Denver rests Chandler, Foye, Arthur; Pelicans' Evans returns

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Denver Nuggets coach Melvin Hunt says he's resting forwards Wilson Chandler and Darrell Arthur and guard Randy Foye against New Orleans on Sunday night.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans say guard Tyreke Evans is starting after missing one game with a sprained left ankle.

Evans, who averages 16.8 points, 6.5 assists and 5.3 rebounds, was injured last Monday in Milwaukee.

Hunt says resting regulars to allows the Nuggets to get a better look at some younger players. Denver came to New Orleans on a three-game winning streak but well out of playoff contention.

Rookie guard Gary Harris and rookie center Jusuf Nurkic have been inserted into the starting lineup, with Kenneth Faried starting at power forward instead of the center spot he often plays.
