Hawthorn 73 candidate forum:
The Hawthorn Education Association will host a school board candidates' forum at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at Hawthorn Middle School South, 600 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills. This is an opportunity for residents to meet candidates running for a seat on the Hawthorn School District 73 Board of Education. There are four seats up for election. Each seat is a four-year term. On the ballot are incumbents Jeffrey Bard and Jayson Tran, along with newcomers Robin Cleek, Jamie DiCarlo, and Sonali Patil.
