Arlington Heights candidate forum Saturday at village hall

The League of Women Voters will present a candidate forum on Saturday at Arlington Heights Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road, for candidates running for village board, school board, library board and park board in the April 7 election.

The forum begins at 9:30 a.m. with the six candidates running for four village trustee seats answering questions provided by the audience. Three candidates running for two four-year terms on the Arlington Heights Park District Board will take the stage next, followed by four candidates running for two six-year seats on the Arlington Heights Memorial Library Board. Candidates running for school board will follow.

The league's candidate forum is free and the public is invited. Residents also can watch on the village's access channel WOW Channel 6 or Comcast Channel 17. Playbacks of the forum will be on the village cable channel at 11 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Online, the forums can be viewed at LWV.on-the-web.tv.
