Artists, show your work at Festival of Arts in Libertyville

The David Adler Music and Arts Center seeks artists for the 35th Annual Festival of the Arts, a juried arts festival to be held in beautiful Cook Park, in downtown Libertyville from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 1-2.

For 35 years, the Festival of the Arts has hosted some of the finest work of nationally recognized artists. More than 70 artists come together to showcase their work in Libertyville each summer. The artists' booths line the gardens of charming Cook Park in historic downtown Libertyville and give the North Shore arts community and patrons a central gathering place each summer.

Additionally, a youth art division celebrates the talents of artists that are 18 years of age or younger. The youth art division is not juried, but is filled with artists on a first-come, first-served basis and presents an opportunity for youths to exhibit and sell their original artwork to the public.

Festival patrons will also enjoy live music, food, and a variety of activities for the children.

To apply for entry, complete, print and mail the application form found online, at www.adlercenter.org/Festival. Application packages must be received by April 1. Successful applicants will be notified via email.
