Fittest Loser Tip of the Week: Get energized

There are plenty of ways to stay energized throughout the day to make sure you're feeling and performing at your best.

Here are some tips to help you feel great:

• Get caffeine! One cup of coffee, no more, will give you a boost to jump start your day. However, avoid drinking it after lunch to prevent a sleepless night.

• Workout before work. Getting in some exercise before work gets your metabolism moving and will wake your body up for the day.

• Snack time. Grab a healthy afternoon snack to prevent hunger between lunch and dinner. This is also a way to keep your metabolism moving.

• Sun rays for days! Make sure to get sufficient sunlight throughout your day. Seeing the natural sunlight wakes your brain up and makes you happy.

Don't get into a slump. Use these tips as much as possible to be happy, healthy and energized every day.
