Billy Bob Thornton band, Nimoy tribute on tap at Arcada

The Arcada Theatre has announced several new concert acts — including Billy Bob Thornton's band and “American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery — coming to St. Charles.

Tickets for each of the events go on sale at noon Wednesday, March 11.

The comedy “Star Trek” tribute band Five Year Mission performs a special “Leonard Nimoy Night” to honor the late actor who played Mr. Spock in the sci-fi series at 8 p.m. Friday, March 20. The band, made up of “Star Trek” fans, aims to write and record a song for each episode of the original TV series. Tickets are $15-$20.

Country star and “American Idol” season 10 winner Scotty McCreery performs at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 12. Tickets are $45-$65.

“Fargo” TV star Billy Bob Thornton also has a country-rockabilly side. Experience it when Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 20. Tickets are $29-$75.

Six-time Grammy Award-winner Dr. John (“Right Place, Wrong Time,” “Mama Roux”) performs at 8 p.m. Friday, June 26. Tickets are $39-$89.

Don Felder, former lead guitarist of The Eagles, performs in concert at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 28. Tickets are $49-$99.
