Eight candidates are vying for four positions on the Township High School District 211 Board of Education. Their names will be on the April 7 Consolidated Election ballot.

The public will have the opportunity to hear from each candidate in person, to ask questions, and to discuss issues face to face at the Candidates' Forum held by the League of Women Voters from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, in the Auditorium at Schaumburg High School, 1100 W. Schaumburg Road.

A moderator from outside District 211 will conduct the forum.

Incumbents Bill Robertson, Mucia A. Burke, George Brandt and Richard Gerber are up for re-election. Robertson and Brandt did not file to run for re-election, leaving Burke and Gerber to face six challengers, Peter R. Dombrowski, Roman G. Golash, Robert D.
