Grayslake Library Foundation holds third annual MiniGolf event

The Grayslake Public Library was turned into a miniature golf course Saturday for the Grayslake Library Foundation's third annual MiniGolf in the library event.

The fundraiser provided family-friendly golf competitions in various parts of the library, including TeenSpace, biographies and Easy Readers.

The Grayslake Central and Grayslake North high school golf teams participated during the teens-only event at noon. A Saturday night event for adults ages 21 included a hole-in-one competition.

Money raised from past golf events was used to purchase iPads for the Youth Services Computer Lab and circulating e-readers for adult patrons.

A Sunday golf event is also planned from 1 to 4 p.m. and is open to all ages.
