Cops, FBI searching for Aurora bank robber

Aurora police and the FBI are continuing to search for a bank robber who escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Associated Bank at 301 W. Galena Blvd.

Police said the man entered the bank about 12:54 p.m. Thursday and demanded money from a female teller. He walked out of the bank through a northwest door and fled.

No weapon was involved, authorities said, and no injuries were reported.

The robber is described as a black man in his 30s, standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. Police said he had a light, thin mustache and was wearing dark sunglasses, a baseball cap, black jacket, light-colored pants and tennis shoes.
