Obama must show our nation the love

I am following up on Rudy Giuliani's remarks that President Obama does not love our country. Mr. Giuliani said "I don't hear from him (Obama) what I heard from Harry Truman, what I heard from Bill Clinton, what I heard from Jimmy Carter, which is these wonderful words about what a great country we are, what an exceptional country we are."

This county is not perfect and a lot of that imperfection comes right out of Washington from both sides of the political arena. There is a lot I am disgusted by because of Washington, but this is also a great country. We have a lot of freedom and a lot to be proud of. Our freedom is fought for by our countrymen - the everyday man and woman who fights for and sometimes give up their lives for our freedom. They deserve to regularly hear our president say he loves this country and he is proud of it.

Our country is at an all-time low as far as divide goes. On a daily basis we have to hear the political ranting from Washington, the media, other politicians, etc. and it is truly sad. And, the man who is supposed to be representing our country helps push this divide by his own comments. It is an honor to be the president and an honor to represent our country and the person doing so should embrace that.

When you are elected to run this country, you stand by it. You continually show your love and support for it and do what you can to bring it together. The buck stops at Obama. And we need to hear our commander in chief support our country and all the Americans he was elected to represent a lot more.
