St. Charles Kiwanis Rose Day fundraiser in full flower

The St. Charles Kiwanis Club's Rose Day fundraiser is under way through Tuesday, April 14.

A dozen beautiful long-stemmed roses in a variety of colors can be yours for a $20 donation to the club.

If you haven't already been contacted by a Kiwanis member, roses can be ordered by phone at (630) 584-1055, ext. 4317. Payment must accompany orders.

The pickup day for roses is Tuesday, April 21 from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Baker Community Center, 101 S. Second St. in St. Charles.

Donations will be used to help the 35 organizations that St. Charles Kiwanis supports, such as: CASA, The Salvation Army, Lazarus House, TriCity Family Services, Boy and Girl Scouts of America, Well Child Dental Program, and the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

Kiwanis is a global organization supporting the world's children. The St. Charles Kiwanis Club meets Tuesdays at the Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, 307 Cedar Ave. in St. Charles. They invite service-minded people to attend for fun and fellowship. For membership information, call Diane DeWitte at (630) 272-1875, or visit kiwanisofstcharles.org.
