Believe Project: $100 for winter coat and gloves for mom in need

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Susan Brady of Elk Grove Village.

Here is an excerpt of her suggestion:

“As a school nurse, part of my job is to support students and families with health, wellness and safety concerns. I work at a middle school in DeKalb where there are many needy families. One family in particular is really struggling with the father quite ill and in the hospital. Three of the four kids are without clothes, underwear, etc. We have a process for the kids; however after looking at the mom who looks exhausted, I would like to provide a warm well-fitting winter coat and gloves. The coat she wears is a child's coat and too small.”

• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else.
