Greenberg not running again for Hoffman parks
Hoffman Estates Park District Commissioner Ronald Greenberg will not seek re-election and his name won't appear on the April 7 ballot, despite his having briefly filed a nominating petition late last year.
Park district Executive Director Dean Bostrom said Greenberg decided to withdraw his candidacy before the end of the official filing period, so his name was never part of the final list sent to the Cook County clerk's office for inclusion on the ballot.
The candidates who are vying for the three available 4-year terms April 7 are incumbents Elizabeth "Lili" Kilbridge and Keith J. Evans, and newcomers Patrick Kinnane and Robert A. Kaplan.
