I still care about the residents of this town and I still have a lot of energy to devote to the residents of Glendale Heights. I know the community and have heard from a lot of people in this town. I am a problem solver and am willing to get involved in getting the job done. I am not afraid to state my opinion on matters involving the betterment of the community.What is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales and property taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.I believe that Glendale Heights needs to entice and pursue better businesses to bring in more revenue.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns?Glendale Heights Police Department and Glenside/Bloomingdale Fire department are the best police/fire agencies in Du page County. They are well prepared to meet the public safety. I would like to see the return of the School Resource Officer program to go back to two officers in the middle and elementary schoolsWhere, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?I believe that Glendale Heights Fest could be scaled back to three days. I believe that there are areas where money could be better spent in our budget. I will be doing more research on this.What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?Having more then one recreation area that reaches the children on the other side of town.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?Getting people involved and getting their voice be heard. Improving our parks so they are used more. Developing programs to reach every child s interest. Hiring qualified people with a vision to improve Glendale Heights.Please name one current leader who most inspires you.Naperville Mayor George Pradel, he is very involved in his town, cares about people and loves his job and it shows.What's the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?to be honest, always try to do your best, help those in needIf life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?I would have continued my education and got my Master's degree.What was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?Math,Science and Physical Education it teaches you discipline,team work and how to work well with other people, commitment and pride, teaches you life skillsIf you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?If you commit to something always do your best and finish what your start.
