My professional background is heavily research based. Immediately following college, I worked as Researcher for The Oprah Winfrey Show. This involved extensive research on show topics, guests, and talent. Next I was given the opportunity to work for the Chicago High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) as a Criminal Intelligence Analyst. Here I worked with various levels of law enforcement in combating drug trafficking and street gang violence in the Chicagoland Area. My responsibilities included extensive research on individuals, asset identification and location, and examination and study of potential money laundering documents. I am running for Village Trustee because I want the Village of Lisle to succeed. We need a plan to revitalize downtown and Ogden Avenue. There is so much potential in the land and real estate available, however we have been unsuccessful in making it thrive. I have children entering the Lisle Public School system. My husband and I have chosen to raise our children in Lisle. It is important to us to be actively involved in our community to ensure the safety and success of our children as well as the children in our community. I am very committed to this process and look forward to representing the citizens of Lisle. I have the drive and knowhow to find and analyze information. I believe in putting all the cards on the table and assessing the risk reward ratio before moving forward on any significant decisions. What is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales and property taxes?
