I want to expand the parks, walking paths, and maintain the roads. Also to generate new revenue from different sources - cell tower, annexation, interest income.What is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales and property taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.The tax rate is fine because it is very low.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns?Police/Fire coverage is from Lake County and is wonderful.Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?No trimming is necessary. The Village has a huge Cash surplus. We need to devote more to the road maintenance.What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?More walking paths through the Village. I engineered the original walking paths in 1997 and will expand those to allow walkers to roams further into areas they did not know existed within their reaching distance.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?Maintain roads better. Annex other properties into the Village.
