In these past four years, we have had balanced budgets. We have reduced many recurring expenses such as insurance premiums, interest rate on debts, and costs for some village services. We have increased our revenues by attracting new businesses to our community. I bring a business accumen to the board which provides a nice balance with the strengths of our other board members. What is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales and property taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain. Our locals sales and property taxes are consistent with communities of our type and size.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns? Our police force is very well run and efficient.
