I have worked in downtown St. Charles for over 25 Years. I believe I know what the people of St. Charles want and what they value.What is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales and property taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.I love this town, but I do believe there is some wasteful spending particularly in the areas of the school district and libraries. We need to reign in the spending and try to lower the taxes. I believe if we can do this even minimally it will help bring more people and businesses to the downtown area.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns?I have personal and professional relationships with many of the brave men and women that keep us safe.
