Is there a particular issue that motivates you, and if so, what is it?While we have a great library, I feel it is time as a taxing body, for the library to take the lead and reduce its levy so that the taxpayers of the district can spend their own money on their needs.If you are an incumbent, describe your main contributions. If you are a non-incumbent, tell us what contributions you would make.As stated previously, I would like to work with the other trustees to lower the levy.Do you have a library card? How long have you had it? How often do you use it?Yes, for many years. Not often as much is now availabele online.Space is an issue at many libraries. If that's the case at your library, would your solution be to expand the physical plant or make room by doing away with parts of the collection that technology has made less critical? Explain.I am in favor of utilizing technology to lessen the demand for additional library expansions.What impact have economic and technological changes had on libraries? How does a library remain relevant? How should its role in the community change?All taxing bodies have had to do more with less and the library should not be an exception. Technological advances have made more information more accessible to the public. The library has become a central gathering place in the community for a lot of events which draw visitors from many areas.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?As previously stated, the library draws visitors from many areas. Yet, the taxpayers of the district pick up the tab and there should be a setoff by charging out of district visitors.Please name one current leader who most inspires you.Mark ZuckerbergWhat's the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?The biggest lesson I learned at home, is that everything is a learning experience.If life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?I wouldn't want to redo a single thing. Each choice has put me when I am today.What was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?My computer classes were my favorite, they created an excellent foundation for today's daily requirements.If you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?Love what you do.
