Five candidates for Oakton board debate Monday
A candidates forum featuring those running for Oakton Community College's board of trustees is scheduled for Monday, March 2.
The event, hosted by the college's Faculty Association, will include an introduction by the five candidates, followed by a question-and-answer session.
The candidates are incumbents Bill Stafford and Theresa Bashiri-Remetio, and newcomers Chris Evdoxiadis, Constantine Ress and Benjamin Salzberg. There are two open seats, each for a 6-year term.
The forum is at 4:30 p.m. in Room 1604 of the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.
