Three added to CLC Alumni Association board

The College of Lake County Alumni Association has added three new members to its board of directors. The new board members and their CLC graduation years are Christina Brown, '81; Diane Downs, '95; and Blake Hudson, '10.

Diane Downs earned a bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a master's degree from North Park University. She is a compliance manager at Baxter Healthcare Corporation and lives in Grayslake.

Christina Brown earned a B.S.N. from St. Xavier University and is an RN SANE-A at Midwestern Regional Medical Center-CTCA and lives in Ingleside.

Blake Hudson received a B.A. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is working on a master's degree from University of Illinois, Springfield. He is CEO of Pinkskate LLC and lives in Springfield.

Continuing members of the Alumni Association board include Sue Dinardi (Chicago Bears) of Gurnee, Tom Herrmann (Allstate) of Vernon Hills, Ed Oilschlager (Baxter) of Lake Villa, Heather June Toser (CLC student) of Round Lake, Sam Valenti (Sunrise Web Solutions) of Mundelein, Board Chair Val Munchez-van der Wagt (Allstate) of Libertyville and Nancy Winter (Underwriters Laboratories) of Buffalo Grove.

Alumni Association board members complete a petition of candidacy and are voted on by the board at its annual meeting in February.

The CLC Alumni Association serves as a link between alumni and the college by sponsoring educational, social and cultural events. It aims to enhance the college's presence within Lake County, build awareness and support of the college among community members and assist the CLC Foundation in college fundraising. It offers members opportunities for community service, social contacts, career networking and access to special events on campus.
