Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask scratched for Devils game

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Boston Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask has had his streak of playing in 18 straight games snapped.

Rask was not feeling well at the Bruins' morning skate Friday and he did not dress for the game against the New Jersey Devils later that night. He had started 16 of the last 18 games.

Niklas Svedberg started in goal for the Bruins. His last start was on Feb. 10 against Dallas and he was replaced by Rask after 20 minutes. He shut out the Devils 3-0 in January.

Boston called up Jeremy Smith from Providence to be the backup on Friday.
